At home just before Lain left for the plane to Colombia.
Such fun with our visitors after our last update. First, our Canadian friends we met in Tonga 20 years ago 🙀—help!
We remembered each other so well. They enjoyed an exclusive 10-day tour of Panama prior to staying with us, so we had a great, relaxing time together.
Then our NZ friends’ son, Lain, came to stay on his three-month backpacking holiday, complete with a large dive bag, through Central and South America. He had already travelled through Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica.
I thoroughly enjoyed acting like a mother again!! He left here by air to continue his travels in Colombia.
Jazz is now two years old and knows lots of words. I wanted a lap dog, and he certainly is—on our lap as soon as we sit down.
I continue to enjoy Bridge, and it takes up a lot of my time, either in person or online. Playing with and against players with 40+ years of experience has many challenges 🤔.
We are moving from the wet, humid season into the hot, dry one. It is always warm, even though I complain about the cold water in the pool—not used to the cold anymore 🙄.
The trees and bushes around our terrace grow so fast. John has just cut the tops off the upside-down trees—after only 18 months, they were higher than the unit roof next door. Incredible 🌲.
Thinking of you at Christmas and wishing you a happy and relaxed holiday time 🎄.
Hoping 2026 brings you joy, happiness, and good health.
“Cheers” 🥂 to a year of new adventures and unforgettable moments.
Love Coral 💃🏼
